Nine tells the story of Guido, a world famous film director as an epic mid-life crisis with both creative and personal problems. He must balance the many women of his life, including his wife Luisa, his mistress Carla, His film star muse Claudia, his confidant and costume designer Liliane, an american fashion journalist Stéphanie, the whore from his youth Saraghina and his mother, Mamma.
