Rob Marshall’s Nineand new films by Doris Dorrie, Matti Geschonneck and Jo Baier will be screened as part of the Berlinale’s Special programme this year.
Musical Nine will have a 60th birthday special screening at the Friedrichstadtpalast musical theatre a week before it is released through Senator Film in Germany. The theatre will also host the world premiere of the reconstructed original version of Fritz Lang’sMetropolis, which will have live musical accompaniment by the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin.
